Q. Why did you select Truss for your wedding?
A.  We love this location because it really showcases Cleveland – it has a beautiful panoramic view of the city and Ohio City also holds a special place in our heart as that was where our first apartment was!

Q. Tell us how you met
A. We met through work – We both work at a public accounting firm. We were on the same team at first but Rachael moved over to a new team after a year and we decided to give our relationship a go and the rest was history! Crazy to think it was 6 years ago!!

Q. Tell us how you got engaged
A. Colton had some help from his sister to get Rachael out of the house the afternoon of Friday, March 18th. When she came home an hour later, she was greeted at the backdoor by their mini Australian shepherd, Ziggy, who was wearing a tux and Colton right behind Ziggy on one knee with a ring. We knew we wanted something intimate and no better place than just the two of us in our home that we cherish so much! Later that night, Colton cooked Rachael dinner (Rachael is usually the cook of the family so this was a nice treat!) and we enjoyed eachother’s company over a bottle of wine and facetiming friends and loved ones to tell them the exciting news! The next morning, Rachael left to go get her nails done with two of her best friends and when she came back – she was surprised to a fully decorated house and all her friends and family! Rachael’s family (who live out of state in AZ, CO and SC) were all in attendance which was super exciting! We hung out for awhile and then Colton arranged a party bus to pick everyone up from the house and bar hop around CLE to our favorite spots!
